Class of 2012 Seniors...Gioia Photography is now accepting applications for our Class of 2012 Senior Model Team. This sweet baby has grown up so fast...Tomorrow we have the joy of capturing her next milestone...standing and walking...it is just sooo fast...one minute they are so tiny in our arms...then presto! They have figured out how their little chubby legs work...and they are running so fast...all we can see is their blur...None the less...I am so tickled to be a part of the lives of little ones like sweet Ellie

If you know me...than you know I feel very strongly about my portraiture showing the person how beautiful they really are...I think society tends to influence our self worth way more than it should! So this event is my kind of event...empowering women...and men (yes you are invited too!) I have a number of friends that LOVE their experience with Arbonne. One recently told me, "I love these products...however, I am with Arbonne, because of these amazing people..." I'm really looking forward to seeing and hearing all these motivated women/men in our studio... I hope I get to see some of you there.
This is such a fun profession! I wish I had known I was going to love this job as much as I do...I would have spent the years indulging in art and photography specialties at college instead of the mass communications degree I worked so hard for. Don't get me wrong...working in television was fun while I did it...but ooohh photography is sooooooo much more enjoyable! Every day is something different...challenging my creativity...Challenges like, how do you make 500lbs of metal look gorgeous??? Recently Space Coast Medicine magazine publisher, Tom Palermo gave us the opportunity to enter the domain of da'Vinci...an incredible four armed robot that resides at Holmes Regional Hospital...performing intricate, delicate, surgeries...I was so excited about this session...I didn't even balk at the glamourous blue hat! I love photographing people so much...because art should tell a story..and portraits tell the best stories...I used to go to museums..and to thrift stores (two polar opposites...but still the same in so many ways) and look at the portraits of women from long ago...portraits of women, were and still are my favorites...you can imagine who she was...what her life was about...My goal as an artist is to create portraits that years from now will continue to intrigue and tell the story of the beautiful woman portrayed...
